Shuangxiwu Gr
Type Locality and Naming
North Zhejiang. The Shuangxiwu Gr was named by Zhang Jiankang, Ma Ruishi et al. in 1973 and published in 1975 by Zhejiang Party of Regional Geological Survey. The type section is in Zhangcun- Shuangxiwu, Fuyang City, Zhejiang Province. Coordinate: 29°53.407´N; 120°02.438´E. Upward succession of Pingshui Fm, Beiwu Fm, Yanshan Fm and Zhangcun Fm (see individual formations for details).
Synonym: (双溪坞群); The Zhonglu Gr is considered as a synonym of the group

Lithology and Thickness
The Shuangxiwu Gr is dominated by schistose intermediate-basic to acidic volcanic lava and tuff, sandwiched with sandstone, sandy-conglomerate, mudstone and limestone lens, locally with phyllite and sericite quartz schist. The thickness varies from 400 to 3100 m.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Bottom is not seen.
Upper contact
It is unconformably overlain by the Luojiamen Fm of Heshangzhen Gr
Regional extent
North Zhejiang. The Gr is distributed in Fuyang, Shaoxing and Xiaoshan, northwestern Zhejiang Province.
